Greetings,

I'm currently looking for an e-commerce solution and have seen information and reviews of VPASP, but still have many questions.

I have a retail store and want to create an online presence so customers can browse products in the store, check prices, availability, and order online. Most customers would simply check price and availability and then come into the store to buy rather than order online. So, my shopping cart needs to have "real-time" stock availability and pricing. That information is maintained by a point-of-sale system in the retail store and it is available via MS Access using ODBC.

My question is, Can VPASP use it's Access database for the shopping cart but be configured (or modified easily) to show real-time quantities and prices from the POS database?

Your comments, advice, and opinions are welcome.

Thank you.

If your POS has the same Table layout as VP-ASP and the Database can be accessed from the Internet. Then it should work.

What POS are you using?
