This is for 4.5 but the concept should work on any version
I got tired of always having to go back to admin to edit a product... I should have thought of this sooner.
Place this tag in your tmp_products.htm and tmp_productformat.htm
and you can edit any of the products on the page on the fly.
You have had to have logged in as an administrator at some point or you will get an unauthorized administrator error.

I am working on the same for the categories but since I dont use a teplate there it is harder.... I'll post it when I figure it out..
I got it to work on the categories but my shopdosplaycategory file is so modified I am not sure how to explain how I did it. I'll send you the whole file if you like so you can figure it out.. it also has the bread crumbs and a different show category and show products stuff...
