I want to restrict which products can appear in the random product display on default.asp. I can find xfrontpagerandomfield &
xfrontpagerandomvalue but can't work out what to do with them.
Any help for a newcomer much appreciated.
Thanks to Trent in Support - I just didn't understand the instructions in the Developer's Guide.
If the value specified in xfrontpagerandomvalue matches the value in the field specified in xfrontpagerandomfield in the product record then the product will be included in the Random product display.
In it's standard form, xfrontpagerandomfield=frontpage, so if the frontpage field in the products table has a value which is the same as the value in xfrontpagerandomvalue then the product will be included in the random product display.
