Hi everybody,
I need to add weight column and value to the shopping cart for every product.
Maybe some of you have the experience with that.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
A.

Hi alex89-

This is an easy change in VPASP since ita a built-in feature! Just add "weight" to the xcartfields config. Field names entered in this config should be separated by commas.

Thanks,
Do you know how to add value of weight, not a title for field?

Have a great day.

Hi alex89-

This should have worked for you already. Are you saying that you added this and it just displayed the text "weight?"

I just tried this myself, and it displayed the contents of the weight field from the product record in the table.

I set xcartfields= ccode, cname, weight

Unfortunately, the display in shopaddtocart.asp did not have a label, so weight value displayed won't mean much to customers. Is this a weight, product code, or what? Perhaps this is what you meant to ask? I'm not sure how to add a label to it short of editing shopproductsubs.asp
