Hi,

How can I just insert data without updating it? Why do I need to have a match field?

Please help.

Thanks,
Alex

Hey candude,

The built-in import function doesn't allow for that (at least not in version 5.0). So, I did a little code work and I have modified the script a bit and have a version that now only imports (adds) and does not update existing records. It's only a few changes to the code but enough that it's a little complicated to explain here.

Just e-mail me (see my profile for the address) and I can send you the revised file. If anyone else is interested, feel free to e-mail as well.

Hi candude,

Yes it is indeed for version 5.0. I just e-mailed it off to you a few moments ago. Good luck.

All the best,
