I've got a small problem when trying to go through checkout at my store: Everything enters fine, but the part where the customer is suppossed to enter his payment details is getting bypassed.

On shopcreateorder.asp, one sees:
quote:
You will now be directed to enter your payment details.
Payment may be made by credit card or check.
Your information will be encrypted.
[Continue]

However, clicking [Continue] takes you to shoperror.asp?msg=Order+has+been+processed
(which simply tells you the order has beem processed)

Any idea what might be going wrong? (Has anyone else ever had this happen?)

This can occur if a domain switch occurs to the shopcheckout.asp page (or gateway page). Vp-ASP is saying it has lost all session variables and therefore does not know what order has been created.

The solution very site depdendent. For example of you have shared ssl, the solution may be to use our shared ssl code. www.vpasp.com/virtprog/info/faq_sharedssl.htm

It may be that on your sitw www.xxx.com is treated differently than xxx.com. This can be resolved by your hosting company.

If you still have problems, contact our support staff, with all site details and what shopcheckout.asp you are using.

Yeah - I think it's a shared SSL thingie... we switch from http://www.oursite.com/e-Store to https://hostingcompany/oursite/e-Store ... that's a symptom of a shared secure connection, right?

I don't happen to know all that much about SSL, so I appreciate the info you've provided! If I run into more troubles I'll be back - but it looks like this might be the solution...

I'm having a similar issue, however it is very sporadic. VPASP support has sent successful orders. Some of my customers have sent succesful orders, however, about 40% of the time, i get the same error as you described.

Furthermore, on occaision, i'm recieving a windows dialog stating that i am being redirected to a nonsecure server when clicking on the continue button on the sslshopcheckout.asp page which resides in the shared folder. The I get the shoperror.asp?msg=Order+has+been+processed.

Ive ran the shop config at time of checkout and the session variables holding the order information up to the point where the customer enters the credit card data are listed.

Does it read:
quote:
This page contains both secure and nonsecure items.

Do you wish to display the nonsecure items?
[Yes][No][More Info]

If so, then your secure page has a hard coded link beginning with "http://" instead of "https://" - this apparently includes http:// links in "embed" tags and the like.

And if that's not the error you're getting then you can ignore me completely and utterly

I don't know if this will help or not, but I have had similiar problems and they always trace back to the IP address, rather than the domain name, being used. You might check your code and/or look in the server log to see if that is the problem.

Hope this helps...

Thanks for the replies. It was definitely an issue with the way the sessions were being handles on the server. Thanks for your responses.

I am having this issue after adding Google Analytics to the site (http://www.google etc)

Is there a way to have my cake and eat it too?

Thank you!
