I have installed the NavigateCatJavaList left side popup menu add-on. We are currently running VP-ASP 5.0 on a sql server. This java popup menu always sends users to the shopdisplayproducts.asp page, regardless of whether or not there were subcategories to display. I want to send users to the shopdisplaycategories.asp page, rather than to all of the products for that category.
I have tried the code listed in this forum under the topic “Code contribution – Category Navigation.” However this code was for the NavigateShowAllCategories menu add-on, and it did not work.
Has anyone been able to have this menu type go to categories vs the current products?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Its clear that it should use shopdisplaycategory.asp when subcategories are present, but doesn't seem to be designed this way. Perhaps we'll receive a fix in version 5.5. Meanwhile, I'm sure someone will recommend modifying the ASP/VBScript yourself.
