Hi
I have a new client that wants to receive the online orders via fax rather than email. Does anyone know how I would do this?
Thanks in advance.

that was an interesting question, and I wanted to know the answer, too, so I had a quick trawl and found the following links:

http://www.a2.com/telecom/freefax.html#web
http://www.savetz.com/fax/

It looks like faxing isn't standardised to the same level as email is, so there's 100's of different "types", unlike email where there's only a handful of email types which can be individually coded-for in something like vpasp.

It looks like you can get faxing integration stuff out there which doesn't require you to install software on the server etc.

Let us all know what you end up doing; I'd love to know how you get on!

Good luck!

Have you looked into a service that converts email to a fax.

You can have the order emailed to the faxing service or add a few lines of code in the thank you page to send a second email to the fax service.
