Is there a way to renumber the catalog id to start from 1 and go to the end.

Since products have been added and deleted and so on, there is holes left in the catalog id and I would like to renumber it so no numbers are missing and it starts from 1 and up again.

I am using vpasp 5 with microsoft sql 2000 server.

There is a way to can do that but again there are more relational effects. But if you gonna delete and import, then you can go to design view in sql EM, and switch off the identified, save it and then switch on will do the job. Or there is free addon for order number restart, you can modify that same code to this.
