We need the ability for a customer to upload a file to our server with their order.
Also, we would also like them to be able to login later and upload the file to the order.
Thanks, Barry Adkins

Hi BAdkins,
Couple of questions for you:
1) Where in the checkout process would you like them to be able to upload?
2) How many files do you want to allow them to upload -- a fixed number or open-ended?
3) Would you want to restrict the file types that can be uploaded? I'm assuming you would.
All the best,

I would like to be able to upload with an "item purchased".
Specific example: We sell Property Surveys, in order to provide the customer with a completed drawing, we need the Title Co. to provide Schedule "A" of the title policy for each survey they order.
I have several "item attributes" they have to complete to order the survey. It would be nice to have 1 more "attribute" for uploading the Schedule "a" file for that item.
If it would be simpler, then it would be okay to upload during checkout @ the Billing information page for example.
2) How many files do you want to allow them to upload -- a fixed number or open-ended?
Open-ended (browse). This would be much like adding/uploading files as email attachments, like many of the web-based email programs offer.
3) Would you want to restrict the file types that can be uploaded? I'm assuming you would.
Not really, but the primary file type would be Adobe PDF files or Word DOC files.

Go to Google and look up: Pure ASP File Upload Several vendors have such a product and http://www.pstruh.cz is one of them. This way you do not have to install a COM objeect, OCX or DLL on your server and you still get the same result. I think it costs from $50 - $100 If you can not find it and install it we can do it for you for about $100 in labor with FTP access granted and the cost of the software, too.

Check out our site with $10,000,000,000 in (virtual) Inventory and over 2,000,000 different Part Numbers.. Anyone have any ideas on partnering to help resell this system or to use it to go into the Electronic Parts and Components Brokerage business with NO INVENTORY REQUIRED, NO INVESTMENT NEEDED and NO WAREHOUSES EITHER?
Gee, can you DO THAT? Sure you can. Ask us how.
