| Wow! I have not been to the forum in a while and apparently this mod has sparked a lot of interest.
Thanks Jon for the tweak to my mod!
Here is another easy one:
To display a manufacturers logo, simply place the following line where you want the logo to appear. It will only show if there is something in the manufacturer field.
Note: there is no logic here so the image must exist and have the same name that is in the manufacturer field.
You can always create a separate extended description template for those products where a logo is desired. This can also be used for a second image by substituting another keyword. Again, the image must exist. If I get some time, I'll see if I can do a sub.
$<img src="images/[mfg].gif" alt="[mfg]">
If the name in the manufacturer field was ACME,
the code would result in:
<img src="images/ACME.gif" alt="[ACME]">
For beginners: The $ at the beginning must be the first character on the line. In other words: All the way to the left in the code.
If it is not, the line of code will display regardless of anything being in the manufacturer field.
