We are a newbie with VP-ASP and love the flexibility however there is one thing we need and I am not sure how to go about it.

The sales report is an improtant function for us because we have two offices and both can see them over the net. Is there a way to also incorporate the cost of all the sales also.

It would be extremely useful if we can see both the sales totals for a period and also the cost.

Anyone have any ideas ?

In my opinion the easiest thing to do is to write a page outside VPASP altogether which pulls from the same database. Using SQL aggregation functions (i.e., select sum(blah blah blah) from orders where otime>'some date' and otime <'some other date') and so on and so forth) or select ... group by ...having... you can write customized sales summaries based on the VPASP orders without having to deal with the internals of VPASP.

Sounds good however I am not experienced enough to make something like that work. I was hoping there was a quick and easy way with VP-ASP.
