Hey MiniMe
I like the seach utility you posted. The only problem I have is that it searches for the string rather than the whole word. For instance, a search for "cat" will return cat dishes but also catalogs. Any way to solve this? I'm using SQL.

That's how the original vpasp search script works. If you search "man" it will also return "Manchurian". I didn't try modifying it.

Has anybody tried this free/open source asp search script on their website?

We purchased the Wrensoft Zoom spider (because the original VPASP script started getting very slow as our database grew) before I stumbled on the above free script.

I'd be curious to know if the free one above works well.
