I'm using V5.

On my shopdisplaycategories page...I have logos from my suppliers. It would be great to incorporate a text description of the supplier as the products from that supplier are being shown.

For the life of me I cannot see a way to do this. I can see how you can add a graphic there but without changing all the headers with each category there seems no way of adding this information.

Does this make sense....??

Create an html or text file about the supplier.
In the catextra file put the file name
In Shop Configuration set

xdisplaycategoryfiles=Yes
xdisplaycategoryimages=Yes

When the products are display the supplier image will display along with the text or HTML file

Trashbin-

You opened with a mention of "shopdisplaycategories." Unfortunately, the feature mentioned won't work on these pages....only in shopdisplayproducts pages. The same thing would be a great feature on all the category pages, even if they contain sub-categories instead of products.

Alas, this is not yet a feature. I plan to add it to the Ideas for future releases forum.
