Hi,
Is there a way to force the xproductsort to pick up the lowest ccategory id when sorting? at the moment is picks up the alph id as it is added. eg if more then one category is selected (12,2,4) the sort is working on 12 not 2?
Any suggestions.
Regards, Troy |

Yes. Are you talking about xsortproducts? I use the pother1 field in the products table and alpha characters. So code the pother1 (or pother2, pother3, etc) field in all of your product records in category 12 as "Z" then change your xsortproducts so it's sorting by pother1,cname. That will force category 12 at the end. Or create another field in products and sort on that field. Hope this helps.
If you use this, you'll have to code all of your products accordingly, i.e. the pother1 field for products in category 1 would be "A", etc. If you have more than 26 categories, then start using "AA", "BB", etc.
