Is there any way (other than manually typing them all in by hand) to take products from the main products database and use them as Product Features? We want to offer custom built-to-order machines from our store, but none of us want to re-enter all the parts, prices, etc.

Is anyone there comfortable with SQL? Your best bet is probably to do a SELECT INTO statement to set things up. It's what I've done with my store (still under development), getting product info out of a point-of-sale system database and turning it into prodfeatures records.
