Hi,

Is there also a way not to charge tax on Gift Certificates in my home state?

Thanks

Earl

I'm not aware of any "bug" here. This is what I did.

Set xgiftproductid = 99999

Set xtaxexcludeproducts = 99999

Hence, no tax on the gift certificate.

I've seen that solution before and that's why I ended up having support fix my problem. *i think* (I could be wrong) that that solution works but when you use a discount coupon it doesn work... something like that so verify that...

The site I used gift certificates on didn't accept discount coupons so no problem there.

If you have a fix from support, can you please post it so we don't all have to bother support?

Hi,

Here's a detailed and similar posting about this and why I said that I ended up calling support. Please read all the details and maybe you can see whether you are affected or not.
