I am trying to add some discounted pricing to my website. What I want to do is offer discounts, but I do not want them to apply to Sale items, which are category 27. I know u can use categoryid in customerprices table to apply to a specific category, but is there a way to specify which categories DO NOT receive discounts? thanks.

Ok let me try to word this differently.

Product A is in Category 1.
Discounts apply to Category 1.
Product receives discount.

Product B is in Categories 1 and 2.
Discounts apply to Category 1 but do not apply to Group 2.
Product B does NOT receive a discount.
