I would love to be able to use carriage returns in either the description or extended description fields in the products table.

This MUST be possible... I've tried html without sucess.

The only other option I have is generating an HTML file for each product and using the cdescurl field to link to it.

What's your version? 5 has an html editor built in to the cdescription field in the admin section. And Cam Flanigan has an add-on editor for V4 and 4.5 (I think 4.5).
