the version is 2.5 with the latest "patches" or "fixes" installed. someone is still getting into the admin area and stealing orders from orders table.

we get the email that an order has been placed but there is no order in the orders area. the customer can be found in the customers table.

what's the deal. this looks really bad.

If you are using PayPal as a payment processor, you are out of luck. This is the same scenario that made me abandon my VPASP cart and go with someone else.

I have no idea what Paypal has to do with hacking in VP-ASP.

As with all software, we have improved VP-ASP over the years. This includes detailed security enhancements. There are reasons that an order can go missing after it has been placed but I do not wish to discuss this on on open forum.

The best recommenadtion I can give is to upgrade to VP-ASP 5.0.

I just posted something about this in another subject, but evidently VPASP isn't the only cart that is having this Paypal problem. I saw 2 little programs today designed to stop this Paypal hack.
