In the shopupsreal.asp file, is there a way, to include a if statement, that says if weight is over 150 pounds, then try another shipping method? Redirect back to the shipping options, with a comment that says, weight exceeds UPS shipping option, please choose another method?

Or, how about in the shopupsreal.asp, there's an option, to change the weight factor that is submitted to UPS, to zero, instead of the over 150 lbs? That way, it will work with another function I have of 0 weight products, get a call back.

You need to set this before you get to the shipping part. Shopcustomer.asp is where the shipping form, along with the ship methods is built. You need to code an IF...Then statement where it looks at the weight and builds the ship methods dropdown accordingly. This way the customer is never given the choice of making a wrong pick.

I'm looking at the same issue, items over 150 lbs. Question is, where do you get the weight value?
Anyone?

This is logic added to the cart which you need a customization in which it does a check for a valid numeric value. Example is one of the pother fields and if it is found, it is the actual shipping cost for this product and UPS calculations are ignored, If all goods have fixed shipping values, UPS is ignored and shipping price is set based only on fixed values. If there is a mixture of goods, the UPS is calculated on the non fixed products and added to all UPS methods and would also be displayed separately in the shipping form.
