Please see www.vpasp.com/virtprog/info/faq_licensekey.htm

Most of the reasons are explained there. If you still have problems contact support with your order number and URL

I have the same problems with the testing license.
I am receiving the following error....
"This software is not properly registered. Please obtain your registration key". And this is when I am only trying to show some extra fields in customer registration through the xcustomerothercaptions and xcustomerotherfields items in the Customer Shop Admin area.

I have successfully used this key for a few weeks. I can shop, and can do everything, yet when I try to login the store as a usual customer I see this error. It, I believe is called from shopcustadmin.asp Line 219-->Shopproductcheck

This function ( Shopproductcheck ) calls getconfig(shoplcname) and if it equals "" or "No" then it kicks off the error function shoplicenseError from shop$db.asp line 2031 or thereabouts.

Why is this failing in the function shoplcname?
Any one else see this?

Thank you

JP Chalpin

Da, it's called copy protection. Testing is testing with nags. Get your production key and it goes away.

I got this error message even when I use the Production Key.
Tech Support just told me to register again for a new Production Key.
Did that twice already, and still received the same old Production Key. And still get the same error :(

Now, what should I do?
