is it difficult to build a custom shipping gateway? i live in small country and want to add my local shipping carrier in my store. is there any guide for this?

or better for me to utilize built in vpcart shipping module?

it is difficult if your shipping method using hard code like "API Key".
But it is easy if you just add the value price, city, area, weight, etc...
You can modify the shipping tables with following the user guide: Chapter "12.4 Shipping"

in my opinion, it depends on how your local shipping works. most of shipping company calculating by weight, so you can try by combining between weight and state cost. you can refer to above guide for more details, and i''m sure it''s explained clearly

I think i''m using default VPCart shipping system, and i''m using weight and state calculation as explained by Serj.
