Hi Bob

Where are you unzipping the files to?

Do you have IIS installed on your local PC?

The following helpnote walks you trough setting permissions and also setting up IIS locally if not already done:

http://helpnotes.vpasp.com/kb/604-Tips-and-Tricks-for-Version-8/914-VP-ASP-in-Windows-Vista-and-Windows-7/

Thank you.

Hi Cam
Have unzipped in wwwroot/shopping
iIS is working
The link you sent me refers to windows7 I am using windows10 which has a different features to windows7 so am no nearer to being able to edit and save any files in the unzipped folder /shopping, getting an access denied when trying to save any file.

Hi Bob,

The settings are actually all the same.

Just follow the steps here:
http://helpnotes.vpasp.com/kb/604-Tips-and-Tricks/914-VP-ASP-in-Windows-Vista-Windows-7/#permissions

If you get stuck jump into the helpdesk and we will see if we can help.

Thank you.
