I would like to use different images for the products that show up on the home page under featured products then what is in the catalog and a different one on the product page. Right now they all share the first product image. Is there a place I can change the image that''s being used for those and not have them show up on the product page? The product page images will be for just the product images, where the home page needs to be a little nicer like a life style image.

You can use "Image" section for featured products image, "Large Image" for product page image, and "Zoom Image" for zoom image on quickview or product page.

You can refer chapter 7.2.2.1 Product Information from user guide. The user guide can be downloaded from http://www.vpasp.com/virtprog/VPCart_800_User_Guide.zip.
