How would I change the font color format of the black asterisk in the customer info required fields to red (in shopcustomer.asp)? (Not the whole label, just the asterisk.)

Search shopcustomerform.asp for * and add your font tags around it.

Hmmm. Your tip works perfectly for the State and Shipping Method, but not for First name, Last Name, etc.? I wonder where the asterisk is being formatted for those fields?

I notice I can hard code the LangCustFirstname, etc. in shop$language_english.asp which allows me to place a red asterisk, but then I've got two asterisks?!!<g>

Any thoughts appreciated.

For those fields they are found in shopproductsubs.asp. In Sub CreateCustRow put your font tags around the asterisk

This is a great tip...a little more on it.....

Just open shopproductsubs.asp and locate line 62 (this is the line in Ver5.0) and change:
------------------------------------------
aster= "* "
------------------------------------------
to>>
------------------------------------------
aster= "<font color='#FF0000'> * </font>"
------------------------------------------
this will give your a red asterix.
