HI All,

Where in the product DB is the current / next catalog ID saved.

I created some products which i then deleted but it skips numbers, If I change the catalog id manually in the product database it''s fine, however when I create a new product it skips the numbers again.

There must be a table somewhere where the last catalog id is saved, but i can''t find it.

Hello Mark,

The catalog or product ID should be saved in catalogid field. This supposedly already set to auto-increment, so when you delete a product, the ID will continue to next number.

from my opinion, catalog ID is not something that can be updated or changed. it is auto id generated by database system for a table.
