I am using the template_furniture700 (Template #124) and under the search box there is something that appears like a shadow. It also appears under the language box when I click on the arrow to select the language. I have not made any modifications to the template. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I am going live in about 5 weeks.

That's the predictive search results, if it's only showing a few pixels at the top rather than the full predictive result then it means that there's another element (top drop-down menu, left panel flyout menu etc) which has a higher z-index than the predictive search so your predictive search result is disappearing behind another element which is why you can only see a couple of pixels high.

We're getting this kind of issue quite a lot, and it's usually a case of having to add explicit z-index values in the relevant css files so that those kind of popup elements are properly layered.

z-index is a css option/number that you apply to certain styles to force them to layer front-to-back/back-to-front properly (the higher the z-index value is on a given element, the more "to the front" it is)

I tried reinstalling the site and reloading the template. Now the damn thing does not display correctly at all. There are no images showing the page is right justified with text only. What the hell did I do wrong?

Hi there,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Would it be possible to upload to a server so our support team can see what is going on? It is a bit hard to guess unfortunately unless we can see the site.

If you want to post in the helpdesk we will try to help. We may need admin access so we can tweak the CSS is required as well so if you post in the helpdesk you can submit the admin info securely.

Thank you.
