Hi everyone:

I would like to create a different 'front page', each one aimed at a different city, for SEO purposes. I did it manually years ago and my Google hits to these city specific pages are amongst my highest.
I would like each 'City Front Page' to automatically update any changes and look just like the front page of the website.

Is there a simple way to do this?

Thank you!!

Dale

i imagine you put a landing page (homepage) and have a dropdowns list of cities / links of cities to be chosen ? when the link of city is clicked or chosen, then the session of the city is stored into vpasp session.
maybe this will works??

Diego.

Hi Diego

Thank you for taking to time to respond with suggestions.

I created a ''content'' page for each city then a ''City Menu'' page with links to each of the individual city content pages. These don''t change so I consider them to be static pages. Because these are content pages, the active right and left column contents stay updated and current. Works for my need.

Thank you again!!
Dale

dale, my thinking is when the city selection is picked in the homepage, say you list as follow :
<a href="pickcity.asp?city=BuenosAires">Buenos Aires</a>
<a href="pickcity.asp?city=London">London</a>

that you create your own asp code file pickcity.asp, and that will program a storing in session for the picked city from string "city" value. you can utilise the coding -

SetSess "City", request.querystring("city")

that will store into session probably.
