Hi there does anyone have any idea how to offer free shipping for orders over x amount of dollars, but exclude certain categories from such. I have certain categories that hold items that are not profitable enough to ship for free. other I can absorb the cost to ship for free.

any help would be appreciated. Any Suggestions at all.

It would be great for VPASP to just have an admin field to list categories to exclude from the free shipping over x amount logic.

Yea , actually have someone working on this , will post once I test it out, and it's ok to do so with the developer.
