Hi,

I've just installed VP-ASP Plus on my local development server. I've had a brief looking through the User Manual and some of the help materials on your website. However, I can't seem to find anything that tells me the procedures when I come to upload the site to the live server. Do I just upload the all the pages as I would the pages for a non-store website? What if I want to migrate the database from Access to SQL Server on my live server? Have you any guidance/help material you could point me to?

Thanks

Hi there,

We have an Access to SQL module available in our Download section on our site that helps with migrating your data.

The main thing you need to ensure is that you update both the shop$config.asp files when you upload to your remote server.

There is one in the CONFIG folder in the root and another in the CONFIG folder in the admin.

Thank you.
