Just saw the sad news that Howard of HK Programming passed away last month. His Shipping Cost Calculator, Site Maintenance and Admin Session program files have been an invaluable part of redco.com running as smoothly as it does, both internally and for our customers.

He was always happy to help with customizations and problems I had or needed and always got the job done.

My condolences to his family. He will be missed.

I once contacted Howard to make some changes to our site that were a little beyond my skill level. I told him what had to be done and asked for a quote, but instead of a quote he sent back the completed files. When I asked what I owed him he told me not to worry about it, it did not take him long so there was no charge.

I remember thinking at that time that it is not often you come across people like this who will just help others out of the kindness of their hearts. Hearing that he passed away is very sad news indeed.
