I would love to see the following:
Split the products table to allow for a more normalized architecture:
1. Brand or Manufacturer Table (Containing Manufacturers of products ex...3com, aopen, asus...etc.)Including other fields for phone number etc...
2. Extended description Table ( For allowing a text field in SQL that displays html etc.) I already did this and it works great...
3. Bill of Materials Table (for allowing an item to contain other inventorty items as an assembly)
4. Matrix Table ( For product matrixes) Red, yellow, green, blue...large , small etc
