I have already had this fixed - but I think a lot of people might like it - the mini-cart, and the line in the actual cart, should should give the total quantity of items in the cart, not the number of unique items. 5 of the same thing, and 3 of something else shows as 2 items. 10 of one item shows up as 1 item.
