Ho,

i manage 6.094 cart version and i use 2 column products and categories display with template. There is problem, because column's width change a lot with each page i browse. Is it possible to fix each column width to 50%???

Please help.

Hi Boris,

is there a chance you could post a screen shot of 2 different pages showing the varying column widths?
Usually this is controlled by the outer table in the product (tmp_productformat.htm) or category (tmp_category.htm)template files. Our site is set to display products at 98% of the column width and the column width itself stays constant.

There is also one important information, if you browse pages in one categorie, than column's width change also..

Hi,

i found solution. I added width feature for <td> object in shopproductformat_template.asp:


Sub StartColumnorRow
'debugwrite "colcount=" & colcount & "maxcolumns=" & productmaxcolumns
If ProductMaxColumns=1 or colcount=0 then
Response.write prodrow
end if
'width is set for 2-column!
response.write "<td align=left valign=top width='50%'>"
end sub


This solution assumes that cart display 2-column.
