Is is possible to set the price of a product to zero and use the feature prices. At the same time hide the zero price.
My client wants the shopper to see only the feature prices as they vary alot and it would be less confusing to the shopper.
Thanks for your time

Hi,

if you open tmp_product.htm in an html editor, save a copy and then remove the following field call -
[FORMATCUSTOMERPRICE cprice]
This will stop the main product price from displaying on the shopexd.asp page.
Open tmp_productformat.htm and do the same. This stops the price from displaying on shopdisplayproducts.asp
Displaying the price of the features will not be affected.

What happens if they have prices for a product that has no product features or the price does not vary. How would I go about setting that in the template to use both price and feature price?
Thanks for your time

Hi Warren,

the best way to achieve this is to create a new tmp_product.htm (eg tmp_productwithfeatures.htm) without the cprice code for displaying products which have features where you do not want the product to show a base price. Add the name of this new template to the template file field of the product records.
