I would like to show UPS as the default shipping method since it's the only one we have and i have defaultshippingmethod = yes but it isn't working. it still makes them choose a shipping method. what am i missing? Thanks in advance!

Addendum, at least i would like to make it yellow or show up or something. customers complain that it keeps saying they need to fill out required fields and they simply can't see the dropdown. Thanks.

I figured it out myself. I found the <select> box and just made the background yellow.

I would like to re-open this topic. I am having the same complaint from customers and have only one shipment method. How do I make it default. As per previous post, I have defaultshippingmethod set to "yes", but it still is showing a pull-down menu.

Hi,

Assuming that the only shipping method that exists in your site is "Normal", then you could try setting these options:

xdefaultshippingmethod = Yes
xfixedshippingmethod = Normal
xshippingdatabaserecords = No
