Hi All
Im looking for someone to create an add on that will automatically email each customer x days after their order has been marked as shipped,
This email will be a template which includes a link to all the products they ordered reminding them to go and write a review for each one.
Anyone up for the challenge?

well, some new custom code to be added for that customisation. why not contact their support maybe they offer you a better quote ?

We did this about a year ago; we never released it as an addon, we just did it as a normal development job, but we (and the client) always had the thought in the back of our minds that we might turn it into an addon later on.
Give us a buzz and if you're interested in it then I can go back to the original client who had it done and we can work out a deal/process that's agreeable to all 3 of us (you, us, and our client who had it done).
The solution we had was a dedicated admin screen that shows you the orders that still need "review emails sent", then you press a button to preview/send them (it shows the orders before you send them, and you can untick ones if you think they're not relevant). When it sends the email, it flags the order as sent so that you don't send the same email twice.
The logic's slightly more complex than it looks at first glance, but the admin screen for it works well.
It doesn't drive from a template file though, it constructs the html of the email in a split-out asp file; the logic needed was too complex to put into a template because it needs to use combinations of the order, oitems, products, customers etc all in a single shot, so driving it from a pure/simple template wasn't really flexible enough. But the split-out file's quite easy to change.
