When you display the products, vpasp shows tabs for description, reviews, tell a friend, etc.

how can I add my own tabs . We sell personal care formulations, and I would like to have tabs for ingredients, safety handling pdf reports, etc.

Thanks

i don't it is possible to setup your own tabs name, but you can only setup xprotabsconfigs value for the existing tabs.

Thanks, I actually am going to have custom code written to accomplish this. It will also not display if the fileds are null.

Billcat99 and Diego, we are actually planning to launch version 750 next, this will be including hopefully the feature to custom create own tabs.

Thank you.

We have not even started thinking about version 7.50 to be honest. We have a number of modules we now want to create for 700 as add ons and then we can maybe start looking at new releases.

Thank you.

we're creating a little addon for this. It'll only be relevant/compatible-with v7 (not 6.5 or below) as tabs are only in v7. If quite a few people want an equivalent for 6.5 or below then we might add tabs for those older versions too, but in the first instance we're just doing a quick-fix addon for v7 so that people can easily add their own tabs (and get it so that the tab only displays if appropriate to the product).
keep an eye on our twitter page or sign up to our mail-list and you'll see when new addons like this get released.

We've now released this (only relevant to vpasp v7, see my posting above about that aspect).

BYZ166 - Customized Tabs for VP-ASP:
http://www.bigyellowkey.com/mysoftware_product_details.asp?prdid=367&opu=n

We're trying to steer people towards subscription instead of paying for invididual modules, because once someone's got one addon they often want to try another; subscription's a nice way to be able to download/try whichever ones you want without having to worry about per-module costs, so, you can buy the BYZ166 module if you want, but it might save you hassle/money in the longer run to just get the subscription and then download whatever you want:
BYZ147 - BYZ Member Plan Subscription:
http://www.bigyellowkey.com/mysoftware_product_details.asp?prdid=344&opu=n

Subscription is automatically discounted when you get to the final confirm-order page by however much you've spent on addons/upgrades in the last 12 months for a given domain, so if you spend, say, £25 on an addon when you're not subscribed, and then decide to get subscribed so you can grab more addons via subscription a few weeks later, then that £25 will get knocked-off your subscription cost.

Subscription isn't mandatory; you can just buy the occasional addon as/when you want in its own right if you want, but it's there as an option.
