Anybody ever seen this one?

V7 site where the menu is laying out as follows...

cat 1
sub cat 1
sub cat 1.1
cat 2
cat 3
sub cat 3
sub cat 3.1
sub cat 1
sub cat 1.1
cat 4
sub cat 4
sub cat 3
sub cat 3.1
sub cat 1
sub cat 1.1
cat 5
cat 6

etc etc

Doesn't matter whether they fly out or drop down...all of them are present, so it doesn't look like an issue with the javascripts.

I'm guessing that whatever variable the sub cats are being assigned to isn't cleaning up on each pass. Looked for all of the common gotcha characters and checked the table structure...everything looks fine.

Now I'm digging into shopproductsubs.asp to see if I can track it down.

Seem to have found a workaround for the moment.

I am still not sure where this thing appeared from though, which is what causes me concern.

Here is the fix for shopproductsubs.asp around line 570

categories(catcount) = mylink
mylink2 = "" 'added 0910 jh
catcount = catcount + 1
catrs.MoveNext

The code is pretty muddy but as far as I can tell when generatesublinks is called it passes mylink2 as plink and then sets plink=plink, so the subcategory list just keeps concatenating forever.

There must be something different here or I would've bumped into this before.
