Hi Neil,
I believe you can do this from within VPASP although the guys from there may want to add something.
You can store customer records and also their purchase history.
You can have an inventory of movies.
Stock control from within VPASP would enable you to display whether a movie was available and if not would display a message saying out of stock or whatever you wanted it to say.
You may need to have something custom built for the making of a reservation. Perhaps a wish list style of mod.
By using features you could offer a selection of whether the customer wants to rent or buy.
When the customer is adding the movie to the cart you can also have some extra fields to specify when the timae of delivery is to be as well as when they want it picked up.
VPASP offers reporting on both stock and customers as well as sales and a few other options.
The only one that you may end up having to get work done to create is the reservations feature. This wouldn't be a difficult project i do not believe.
Cheers, Cam
