I am in the process of doing an upgrade for a client, from 6.0 to 7.0. If I chose to generate demo data, did I accidentally delete the existing data and need to go to my backup? If not, how do I remove the demo data and access the real data?

Hello there,

Please make sure you select "Upgrading an existing VP-ASP Store" instead of "Installing VP-ASP for the first time" on the installation wizard. If you have selected the former, you may need to restore your database from the backup as all the tables may had been recreated by the wizard and thus all the data are gone.

The "Generate Demo Data" option should not appear if you selected "Upgrade".
