I give up! I have searched the documentation and forums, and I can't find anything on this. When I enter a word in the content manager on page shopa_editcontent.asp, it converts my single quotes to two single quotes. For example, the word can't is changed to can''t when I save it. It the displays it this way on the live webpage. How do I stop it from doing this? I have tried everything I can imagine.

Have you tried using ´ instead.... so it would be can´t

gee, it converted it here... so use this with taking out the spaces..

& a c u t e ;

Hi there

Can you try the following:

Open admin/admin$db.asp and locate around line 3308: within routine function CleanChars

Remove

newchars=replace(newchars,"'","''")

Save and test.

Open shop$db.asp

Locate around line 3356: within routine function CleanChars

Remove

newchars=replace(newchars,"'","''")

Save and test.
