Hi

Is it possible to change the way the tables are displayed at the backend (like in shopa_editdisplay.asp?table=products and
shopa_editdisplay.asp?table=categories):

So instead of
catalogid, ccode - cname - cdescription - cprice - ccategory -

Becomes
CID - PID - Name - Description - Price - Category -

Thank you

Not without a fair amount of custom coding if you're using v6.50. Don't know about v7 though.

Thanks Carrol for your reply.

It will be great if names like ccode and catalogid get changed at the backend to something simpler like other Shopping Carts, it's very confusing sometimes to figure out what is what.

I don't know if others chare my point!

I agree that when you first start using the software it does take a bit of time to get used to the field names, but imagine what it would be like for someone taking over the admin of a cart where the previous person had changed lots of field names and had not kept any record of the changes. I have changed some of the field names when they display in shopa_addproduct.asp file but these were done through changing the language records for the field labels (pother2 etc) and notes of all my customising of our cart are kept in a folder for future admin persons.
