We are using 7.0 and originally created our 4000+ products with the Google Map set to "no". We obviously don't want to go thru each item manually to switch to "yes"; however, when we tried to upload the updated spreadsheet noting "1" in the database column for "yes" it didn't make the changes.

Any suggestions?

We use a stand alone generator (http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/). I've found this far mor effective than any of the VP add ins as it really goes through the site with a fine tooth comb in the same way as a search engine would.

I second http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ .

To answer your original question,

Go to Misc > Query

Export out the product ids --

Add columns:

smFrequency smPriority gsmincluded
weekly 0.5 Yes

And import back into the products table.

It is easier if you can do an update to the table with SQL but I am assuming you would have done it already if you knew how.
