Hi All,
Anyone know how to change the image size in the productformat template? I want fix the size at 100 x 100. Changes to the template don't work and I can't find the CSS for this if it exists.

Thanks
Jack

I'm assuming you've tried tha standard of declaring the size in the image tag?

After that my other question is why don;t you simply make sure all your thumbnail images are 100x100?

On our sites thumbnails are all 100x150 this reduces page loading time and subsequently server stress. By having the image size different to what is actually displayed (especially when you are going from large to small) you are simply slowing your site down.

I would recommend having two sets of images, your large ones and your thumbnails, more work initially but far better in the long run.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the reply. Yes I've tried everything I could think of.
I have about 250k items on my site. I link to vendors images for most of them, but some vendors only supply a large image, so I want to resize those on the fly to 100 x 100. If I don't figure it out I'll have to import and resize all those images before I go live with the new site.
Thanks
Jack
