I am trying to set up reviews so that they require approval by an admin. before being shown I have set what I could find related to review approvals without any effect. The approval seems to default to "Yes".

Any ideas on this?

Has anyone doe a mod that allows customers to upload an image with their review?

there's a config option of:
xratingauthorize
you'd set that to Yes

(on v7, the "%review%" config options seem to relate to news/blog reviews etc, not product reviews, it's the "%rating%" config options (product reviews in config menu) that relate to product reviews)

I fell into a similar trap when looking this up, because I did a search on "review" and wondered why the product review options were missing, but then spotted the "product review" section on the config menu and remembered/saw those were "rating" rather than "review"

Thanks Simon. I don't know how I missed that one. Long day I guess.

I did submit a test but there isn't a "Thank You" message after submitting, just a cleared form. That is sure to either generate emails or multiple posts or just a frustrated customer.

I am going to submit a ticket on that one.

I guess that nobody had added image upload capabilities?
