 update category via CSV import		  New Topic  Reply to Topic

I've noticed that importing CSV product list categories doesn't seem to work. I've typically had to go into each product and update the category. Is there a way to bulk update categories since category updates are also not available via bulk updates in admin?

When importing categories in your products please enter the categories into the Level3 field in the product import file.

If you want your products in multiple categories please enter the category id's separated by a comma. For example

2,5,45

After importing you can also run the convertproducts.asp file which will check the level3 field and make sure the relevant category joins are created.
