I am trying to test my new installation. I place an order, fill in customer details, and when I click Order Now I get a missing page - querystring ends in (?oid=1). After a few attempts (using back button) it says my cart is empty.

Hi Dan,

Please make sure xmysite and xssl in the shop$config.asp file are filled in and match.

Xssl is not required if not using an SSL certificate however xmysite is required.

Thanks, just resolved it. Your incredibly fast reply is much appreciated.

Yes, the shop$config.asp HTTPS value was set to the root URL instead of the full shop subdirectory. The error was resolved; however it still times out very fast, in seconds (both while working in admin and also while placing orders). If I spend a minute on a page I have to log in again (frustrating, losing a lot of work). Any similar experiences?

Never mind Cam. I read posts of similar issues from other clients. i will contact my hosting company.
