Hello

I have just started to use this backend but i have a few problems

when i add a product it is not showing up in the catagory could you please tell me what i am doing wrong

Hi Austin,

Welcome!!

The main cause for this is stock control. If you have enabled stock control in the config you need to make sure your products have a value in the cstock field.

Have a look and jump back here if this does not fix the problem.

Yes i have put it to us having 10 instock but still not showing in the catagory could you give me another way i can try

Do you have your categories set up correctly?

The page you see the products on should be:

http://www.yoursite.com/shopdisplayproducts.asp

If you have the cats set up incorrectly it may be it is using shopdisplaycategories.asp

If not the issue either it may be an idea to jump into our helpdesk and the support guys can have a quick look at your site directly.

As I mentioned above. You can tell by the page name you are expecting to see your products on.

Correct:
http://www.yoursite.com/shopdisplayproducts.asp

Incorrect:
http://www.yoursite.com/shopdisplaycategories.asp
